We are now looking for a childcare worker for Kompassen Preschool. The preschool consists of four departments, two for younger children and two for older children. The temporary position is located in a department for younger children, where you will work closely with two preschool teacher colleagues.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a childcare worker, you contribute to ensuring that everyday life at the preschool runs smoothly and that care and daily educational work are based on children's participation, security, and curiosity. You help create a positive, meaningful, and developmental environment for each child and for the entire group of children, together with other colleagues at the preschool.

You participate in the pedagogical development work and in documentation according to the preschool's curriculum and educational goals. You are active in planning, implementation, and evaluation of the activities and contribute to, for example, parent meetings and development discussions. In daily contacts with guardians, you engage with them with a focus on children and good service.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have a high school education in the child and leisure program with a pedagogical focus, or another education that the employer considers equivalent. Experience as a childcare worker and familiarity with documentation in your work is an advantage.

As a person, you are committed, flexible, and responsible. You have a clear focus on children and a positive attitude towards your work, your team, and the entire preschool's activities. You collaborate with children, colleagues, and guardians in a responsive and smooth manner and communicate in a respectful and constructive way. You follow decisions, guidelines, and the curriculum and work systematically towards common goals.

In our operations, everyone employed to work with children and young people must, according to law (2000:873), present a valid extract from the Police's criminal record.
